   I purchased a NEW Alienware desktop from 2ndTurn Electronics, which is a reputable Ebay store that sells Best Buy returns and demo units. I purchased it complete except the manuals for a price that I couldn’t turn down as well. As I have never been an Alienware owner before, but have owned many Dell’s I went to the website to register the machine and it asked me for an account number, which is in the manual that I don’t have. No problem I’ll just give them a call and explain the situation. Everything went downhill fast from there.

   After giving the serial number off the unit I was told that the unit was still in Best Buys name and that I would have to contact them to get the original manual for it or the account number. So I called Best Buy, which in my opinion no semi intelligent human being should ever try, and got no where.They had no idea what I was asking about They went as far as wanting to remote access my computer to look for the manual in it. I called Alienware back and once again tried to explain the situation and was told that they had stopped selling to Best Buy but that no matter what I couldnt’t register mine unless I had the original info. I went as far as explaining to the person that I WAS NOT looking for warranty service and I understood that I wasn’t entitled to such I just wanted to download the original drivers and software that came with this unit. I was hung up on. I have since Emailed them 4 times and have received no answer at all.

   The moral to this story is that while I am very satisfied with my computer and my company has been a long time corporate purchaser of Dell products, I will NEVER buy anything from Alienware nor will I recommend anyone else to either.

   Cred ca e o tzeapa concursul! Cineva stie sigur ca sunt 8 cifre , fara litere
   Cineva de la e-mag va face cadou finutului ori nepotului…. un cadou din 8 cifre )

   Salut,
   Pai daca ai opt cifre atunci castigi sigur. Noi nu am reusit sa gasim cu 8 cifre, doar cu litere.

   Buna,este numai cu cifre, ultimele sunt date de procesor.

   Laptopul e deja castigat.
   Am gasit codul dar este deja inregistrat si nu doar codul respectiv ci o intreaga plaja care sa contina seria castigatoare.
   Problema este ca seria nu mai poate fi inscrisa de un alt concurent.
   Trebuia sa desemneze castigatorul prin extragere.
   A bloca accesul din start la cod e ca si cum ai interzice participarea altor persoane la concurs.
   Trebuia sa anunte. “Fratilor, Hagi s-a retras din fotbal”

   Revin cu o rectificare la afirmatia ca laptopul a fost castigat.
   In opinia mea cred ca laptopul a fost castigat dupa logica gasita de mine pentru spargerea codului.
   Diferenta o face cel care gaseste cifrele de la 00 la 99. Nu vreau sa spun codul exact din diferite ratiuni.

   Daca a fost introdus codul castigator, ceilalti participanti au dreptul de a introduce un alt cod dar sub nicio forma nu vor avea voie sa introduca codul corect pentru ca este interzis prin regulament.

    Sa inteleg ca nu esti din Bucuersti?
    Nu mi se pare ceva iesit din comun daca ar fi un castigator din Bucuresti.
    Referitor la ce am spus acum 2 zile, ca premiul ar fi fost deja adjudecat, cred ca m-am inselat. Mai mult ca sigur m-am inselat. Sunt zeci de milioane de sanse.

    Are cineva vreo idee cam care ar putea fi?
